"Alone we can't do much. Together we can change the world." -William F. Austin, Founder, Starkey Hearing Foundation
With the help of Robert Lee Kolb and Rachel Garay, a few years back the June Jones Foundation established a partnership with Starkey Hearing Foundation to provide hearing aids to Samoans in need.
This past week in Pago Pago, the vision became reality as the Starkey Hearing Foundation and local volunteers fitted hundreds for hearing aids. Through this effort, several thousand will receive hearing aids at no cost.
The Starkey Foundation has provided more than 1.8 million hearing aids and care to people in need throughout the world. "So the world will hear!"
Fa'afetai tele to the June Jones Foundation American Samoa volunteers including Penny & Paul Loyd, Pat Letuli, Mel & Moana Purcell, Pete & Donna Gurr, Akenese Nikolao-Mutini, LBJ Tropical Medical Center and many others for their leadership and support in making this happen.
